Biography

Born November 26, 1928 in the village of Rabotino (now Tokmak District, Zaporizhzhya Region ) in a peasant family. Ukrainian. Member of the CPSU since 1957.

From October 1941 to September 1943 he was in the territory temporarily occupied by the Germans. After the liberation of the village, he worked on the collective farm named after T.G.Shevchenko as a trailer, then as a tractor driver. In 1948 he graduated from the school of factory training No. 2 of the Zaporizhstal metallurgical plant. He joined the plant as an assistant to the steelmaker of the open-hearth shop. Since February 1952, he cooked steel as a steelmaker. During the operation he smelted three million tons of steel. Later he headed a team of steelworkers.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 30, 1971, for outstanding achievements in fulfilling the tasks of the five-year plan for the development of ferrous metallurgy, Kayole Ivan Antonovich was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle."

He was elected as a deputy of the district Council of People’s Deputies. The delegate of the XXVII Congress of the Communist Party of Ukraine . He was awarded two orders of Lenin , medals.

He lived in the city of Zaporozhye . He died on October 25, 2007. He was buried in Zaporozhye.
