Biography
Born February 19, 1937 in the village of Dubkovo (now - Bezhanitsky district of the Pskov region ) in a peasant family. During the war, remained in the occupied territory, before his eyes the Germans burned the village. After the war, he graduated from the 7th grade and in 1954, a school of factory training in the city of Velikiye Luki. He received the profession of a carpenter, for some time he worked at construction sites of the city.
In 1956, construction and assembly train No. 134, in which Lavrenov worked, was transferred to the Arkhangelsk region , to the Kizema station. Here he worked for several years on the construction of the railway. Since 1959, he worked in the city of Arkhangelsk as part of the same construction organization. In 1967, due to the health of his wife, the family moved to the south, in Dagestan . He lived in the city of Makhachkala.
Since March 1968, G. M. Lavrenov worked on the vessels of the fishing industry of the Caspian Sea, assigned to the port of Makhachkala : sailor , senior sailor, boatswain . The boatswain sailed only on two vessels of the production association Dagrybprom - Volodarsky and Irtysh. He achieved high performance in work, was recognized as the best boatswain of the shipping company. With a daily fish catch rate of 14 tons, the crew mined up to 80 tons and processed all products. I had to work up to 18 hours a day.
By decrees of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 4, 1975, March 17, 1981, and August 8, 1988, Lavrenov Grigory Maximovich was awarded the orders of Labor Glory of the 3rd, 2nd and 1st degrees. He became the full holder of the Order of Labor Glory .
In February 1992, suffered a heart attack, was forced to leave work at sea. In December 1992 he returned to his native Pskov region. He built a house in the village of Aksyonovo, Bezhanitsky district, where he lived until the last days of his life.
Died July 20, 2017. Buried in Velikiye Luki.
He was awarded the Order of Labor Glory of three degrees, medals.
