Pesterev, Vladimir Nikolaevich

Born February 13, 1940 in the city of Birsk . In 1958 he graduated from the Ishimbaev Vocational School and received the profession of an operator for oil production.

He began his career in 1958 in the oil fields of Bashkiria. Operator for testing wells, oil production in the Bashvostoknefterazvedka trust, Kaltasinskaya drilling office, NPU Ishimbayneft , Arlanneft (1958-1962) ^[1] (S.353)

In 1962-1965 he served in the Soviet Army on the territory of Hungary .

After demobilization in 1965 he moved to the Tyumen region , from that time he worked in the oil fields of Western Siberia. He got a job as an operator for oil and gas production at the Surgutneft Oilfield Directorate at the Fedorovskneft Oil and Gas Production Directorate. He later switched to assistant driller and driller overhaul. In 1978, he was transferred by a KRS driller to the Surgut Department for Enhancing Oil Recovery and Overhaul of Wells at Surgutneftegas Production Association.

Working in the oil fields of Western Siberia, he established himself as a highly qualified specialist. He initiated the initiative to work on two machines with one team. This undertaking was spread at the enterprises of the Surgutneftegas association. As a result, 4 drillers with a salary of 102 thousand rubles a year were freed. In the years of the tenth five-year plan, the team in which V. N. Pesterev worked, repaired 112 wells with a plan of 93 and socialist obligations of 98, the implementation of the plan was 120.4%. Due to the decrease in the labor intensity of work, the introduction of advanced techniques and labor methods, the production time of the brigade during the years of the eleventh five-year period increased by 7.6%, acceleration increased by 3.9%.

The team completed the task of 11 five-year plans ahead of schedule - in four years, overhaul of the oil well 25 oil wells, resulting in an additional 216 thousand tons of oil was produced and energy, materials and tools were saved in the amount of 1,300 rubles. As a youth mentor, V. N. Pesterev helped to master the profession of a driller - 7, assistant driller - 6 to young oil workers.

In 1985, he was transferred by a driller for overhaul of wells at the Bystrinskneft oil and gas production department of the Surgutneftegas production association.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 29, 1986 for outstanding production achievements, a great personal contribution to the early fulfillment of the tasks of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan and socialist obligations for oil and gas production and the shown labor prowess, Vladimir Nikolaevich Pesterev was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the golden Sickle and Hammer medals.

He worked for more than 35 years in the difficult conditions of the Tyumen north. He commissioned wells at the Surgut, Solkinsky, Pravdinsky, Kholmogorsky, Lokosovsky, Poikovsky, Bystrinsky oil fields. He personally participated in the development of drilled wells, and in transferring them to mechanized production

In 2000 he went on a well-deserved rest.

He lived in Surgut, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. He died on November 23, 2003.

He was awarded the Orders of Lenin , "Badge of Honor", and medals. Honorary oilman of the Tyumen region . Honorary Citizen of Surgut. The name of V. N. Pesterev is listed in the Book of Honor of the Glavtyumenneftegaz Trust.
