Fedor Fedoseevich Kolesnikov (05/22/1925, Altai Territory - 05/02/1989) - sapper of the 82nd Guards Rifle Regiment of the Guard, a Red Army soldier - at the time of presentation for the award of the Order of Glory of the 1st degree.

Biography
Born May 22, 1925 in the village of Akulovo, Pervomaisky district, Altai Territory,. In 1936 he moved with his parents to the city of Leninsk-Kuznetsk, Kemerovo region . Here he graduated from the school of factory training and came to work at the mine as an electrician. At the same time he studied at the school of OSOAVIHIM, studied sapper business.
In March 1944 he was drafted into the Red Army . He studied in the reserve regiment and went through military training and was sent to the front. He was enlisted as a sapper in the 82nd Guards Rifle Regiment of the 32nd Guards Rifle Division. Participated in the Vilnius and Siauliai operations of the 1st Baltic Front. He distinguished himself in the very first battles.
On July 2, 1944, on the outskirts of the Šiauliai city of the guard, the Red Army soldier Kolesnikov neutralized 15 anti-tank mines under fire, providing direct access to artillery guns.
The order in parts of the 32nd Guards Rifle Division dated August 14, 1944 awarded the Red Army guard Kolesnikov Fedor Fedoseevich the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree.
On the night of September 6, 1944, in the vicinity of the Skadvili settlement, the Red Army soldier Kolesnikov, acting as part of a scout group, neutralized 6 anti-tank and 3 anti-personnel mines. September 8, in the depths of the enemy’s defense in the vicinity of the settlement of Rymutsi, mined the road along which the enemy pursued the reconnaissance group. On these mines 5 enemy soldiers were blown up.
By order of the troops of the 2nd Guards Army of December 12, 1944, the Guards Red Army Kolesnikov Fedor Fedoseevich Order of Glory of the 2nd degree.
In December 1944, the 4th Guards Army, of which Kolesnikov fought, was reassigned to the 3rd Belorussian Front. In January-April 1945, during the East Prussian strategic operation, it broke through the enemy’s long-term defense, and participated in the liquidation of the encircled group southwest of Koenigsberg.
On January 20, 1945, in the vicinity of the settlement of Walterkemen of the Guard, the Red Armyman Kolesnikov, being in the battle formations of the battalions, made 4 passes in wire fences for the passage of rifle companies that captured the first trenches of the enemy. On February 11, under enemy fire, he removed 29 anti-tank mines, which ensured the advance of the rifle companies. In addition, he scouted a system of engineering structures at the forefront of the enemy. He was presented for awarding the Order of the Patriotic War of the 2nd degree.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 19, 1945, the Red Army soldier Kolesnikov Fedor Fedoseevich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree. He became the full holder of the Order of Glory.
In one of the battles, in the spring of 1945 he was seriously wounded, lying for about a year in a hospital in the Perm region. Here I met Victory Day, learned about the high award. After demobilization in 1946 he returned home.
In 1959 he moved to the city of Tommot with his family. Work in DRSU-4 as a driver, then a coppersmith. He died on May 2, 1989.
He was awarded the orders of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, Glories of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees, medals.
In June 2013, in the city of Tommot, a memorial plaque was opened on the house where the veteran lived.
