The village of Sotsgorodok stands on the right bank of the Tunguska River .

The village arose during the construction of the Khabarovsk-Komsomolsk-on-Amur railway line , a guarded railway bridge across Tunguska is located below the village.

The road to the village of Sotsgorodok goes from the Amur highway through the village. Volochaevka-2 . The distance to the Amur highway is about three kilometers, to Volochaevka-2 about two kilometers.

East of the village of Sotsgorodok is located with. Danilovka , the distance is small.
