Flowerpot

Pot - type of small architectural form , decorative vase, usually stone, metal or plaster, installed outdoors. It can also be in a concrete version with a stone texture. As a rule, the pot has no utilitarian purpose, but in some cases it can serve as a flower bed. Flowerpots were widely used in European and Russian architecture of the 18th and 19th centuries, when decorating parks, public buildings and rich houses. Widely used in the 1930-1950s in the USSR, in the architecture of the "Stalin's Empire" . The flowerpots could be decorated with balustrades of balconies and open terraces, balustrades bordering the roof of the building, fountains, front gates, they could also be installed separately. Now the flowerpots can be found at the entrances to large shopping centers. More often plastic options in which beds are planted are found. There are very large forms in which they plant small trees.

A feature of concrete flowerpots is that they do not require care, but they are durable and will withstand various attempts at vandalism.
