Biography
He started playing football while studying at secondary school No. 22, which had its own football section. It was led by a children's coach Igor Sergeyevich Alabastrov. Together with Alexander Piskaryov and Alexander Tulbin, he managed to get into the training group under the team of masters “Tekstilshchik” to coach Gennady Mikhailovich Skripachev. For some time, the defender played in the youth team of Ivanovo in the championship of the First League among understudies. In 1968, he was enlisted as a defender by head coach Yuri Alexandrovich Zabrodin in the team of masters “Tekstilshchik”, which performed in the second group of the second subgroup of class “A”. Savinov held his debut match for the Ivanovites in Dnepropetrovsk against the local Dnipro .
In addition to the Ivanovo club, he was part of the USSR trade union team. There he performed under the guidance of Boris Arkadyev and Nikolai Morozov .
In 1976 he graduated from the Physics Department of Ivanovo State University .
He completed his appearances as part of Tekstilshchik in 1980, and played 439 games for the team. He takes third place in the history of the club in the number of matches held for him. By this indicator, it is second only to Alexander Gushchin and Yuri Pyanov .
He completed his playing career in the Ivanovo "Machine Tool", in which he became the champion of the Ivanovo region in football.
Then for several years he worked as a coach at a sports school at GORONO. His most famous pupil is Oleg Shmakov .
While retired, he lived in his native Ivanovo [2] . He was buried in the cemetery of Balino . [3]
