History
Anthroponym name: the owners of this settlement were the sons of A. S. Pushkin, Alexander and Gregory . In the St. Petersburg Chamber of the Civil Court, a record dated June 23, 1854 on the acquisition by the brothers of the estate in the village of Novaya Aleksandrovka (Morevka Identity) of the Ardatovsky district was preserved. In 1864, they carried out a redemption operation with peasants. In 1865, a redemption institution attached to the St. Petersburg State Treasury recognized the deal and allowed the peasants to take out a loan to redeem 137 acres of 1,400 fathoms of land.
In the "List of Populated Places of the Simbirsk Province" (1863) in Novaya Aleksandrovka there were 27 yards. Since 1930, it was part of the Bolshegnatovsky district and totaled 472 people. In 1963-1965 was part of the Ardatovsky district .

Current status
In a modern village (part of the Protasovskaya village administration, see Protasovo ), there is a basic school, a club, a post office, a first-aid post. Novaya Aleksandrovka is the birthplace of civil engineer and writer A.F. Kosenkov.
