Kasym Nurgalievich Kurpebaev (born April 17, 1931, Karaganda region ) is the head of the mine section named after the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution of the Karagandaugol plant, Karaganda region .

Biography
Born on April 17, 1931 on the collective farm named after Kalinin, Karkaraly district of the Karaganda region . Kazakh. From the age of four, he remained an orphan on the education of his grandmother. During the war, he moved to relatives in Karaganda.
In 1944, he began his career as a marker at the mine number 60 of the Molotovugol trust of the Karagandaugol plant. Since 1947, he worked at mine No. 54-41 of that trust as a local standardizer and, after reaching the age of majority, he became the bulk picker of the mine. As a promising, conscientious worker, he was sent to one-year courses at the Karaganda Mining College.
Since 1950, after graduation, he received the qualification of a junior technician, worked as a mining foreman in mining section No. 2 of mine No. 101 of the Saranugol trust of the Karagandaugol combine, then section No. 4 of mine 20 of the Kirovugol trust's bis trust.
In 1960, among other miners-practitioners, he entered the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute out of competition. He studied well, received a scholarship from the mine. In 1964, he successfully graduated from the institute with a degree in mining engineer. He was appointed deputy head of mining section No. 2 of mine No. 22 of the Leninugol Trust, and after three years he continued to work as the head of this section, the same mine named after the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution. At this time, Kurpebaev’s team was the first in the basin to master the new mechanized coal mining complex KM-81. Its implementation allowed to sharply increase coal production - up to 1000 tons per day. Since 1968, he actively participated in the All-Union Movement for the extraction of 500 thousand or more tons of coal from one lava.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on December 29, 1973, for his labor valor and achievement of outstanding success in fulfilling the socialist obligations assumed for 1973, Kasebaev Kasim was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle."
In 1977, he was appointed director of the Karagandinskaya mine of the Karagandaugol production association and successfully led this team for 12 years. Working at this mine, he proved himself as an engineer, able to solve the most complex production problems. With his direct participation, record loads on lava, high rates of sinking, high productivity were achieved. Under his leadership in 1983, the mine was awarded the challenge Red Banner of the Central Committee of the CPSU , the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions and the Central Committee of the Komsomol with a mark on the All-Union Board of Honor at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of the USSR. K. N. Kurpebaev himself was awarded the gold medal of the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of the USSR.
From 1989 until the release, he worked as deputy head of the mining section of the Karaganda mine, PA Karagandaugol. In 1991, retired.
He was a deputy of the city and district council of the city of Karaganda.
