Biography

Born on October 24, 1913 in the village of Kolmna, Kashirsky district, Moscow region ,. Russian. She graduated from four classes of a rural school. She began to work from an early age both in the field and at home.

From 1932 to 1941 she worked at a weaving factory in the city of Ozyory in the same region. With the beginning of World War II she returned to the village. From 1941 to 1946, she led the field crop brigade on the Krasnaya Roza collective farm in the native village of Kolmna.

In 1946 she switched to livestock farming. For a long time she worked as a milkmaid on the Malenkov collective farm, and later - on behalf of the XX Congress of the CPSU , formed in the 1950s after the unification of small farms. She sought the highest milk yields in the area: annually from her group of 20 cows fed over 5,000 kg of milk from each cow in the barnyard in the village of Maslovo. These were the highest milk yields in the Kashira district. Her fame rattled throughout the suburbs. Repeatedly was a member of VDNH.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of January 30, 1957, for outstanding achievements in the production of livestock products and the increase in agricultural output to the state, Yekaterina Vasilyevna Aleshcheva was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle Medal.

In 1960, the collective farms of the Topkanovsky village council joined the Ostrog state farm, which was transformed into the Bogatishchevskaya poultry farm, and soon, part of the land was transferred to the newly created Rostovtsy state farm, which became part of the Scotkormt trust. With the creation of the state farm, the economy took a new direction - cattle fattening. Ekaterina Alescheva took a group of calves and began to raise them. Soon they started talking about her as a master of the high gain of young animals. She generously shared her experience with livestock breeders of the region, raised dozens of young milkmaids and calves.

Repeatedly elected a deputy of the village, district and regional Soviets, a member of the city committee of the party.

She lived in the village of Kolmna. She died on December 12, 1981.

She was awarded the Order of Lenin , medals, as well as the Great Golden and Silver Medals of VDNH. Honorary Citizen of Kashira District. In the village of Kolmna, a memorial plaque was installed on the house where Aleshchev lived.
