Nicodemus Felician Pravdzits Bentkowski (September 27, 1812, Lisya Góra near Tarnów - October 19, 1864, Wieliczka [1] ) is an Austrian Polish physician and politician, doctor of medicine and master of obstetrics, author of medical essays.

Born in Galicia, studied at the University of Vienna, in 1846, during a riot of peasants, he was badly injured and spent a long time in prison. As of 1861, he worked as a doctor in Wieliczka, after which he was elected to the Landtag of the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria, from where he was delegated from Galicia to the Reichsrat, where he worked from 1861 to 1864.
He published the following works: "Anatomja patologiczna ogólna i szczególna" (Krakow, 1852-53); “Niektóre uwagi nad terapją gruźlicy” (Warsaw, 1859); "Historia medicinae in inclytis Poloniae terris" (Vienna, 1862).
