Marian Nixon ( born Marian Nixin , née Marian Nissinen ), October 20, 1904 - February 13, 1983 ) is an American actress and dancer.

Biography
Born in Superior City (Wisconsin) , Wisconsin. She began her career as a teenager as a dancer in vaudeville. In 1923, her film career started, and a year later, Nixon was included in the WAMPAS Baby Stars list as one of the most promising stars of the year. [1] The actress continued to act on films a lot until the mid-1930s, appearing in almost seventy films, including Hands Up! (1926), Presentation of Performances (1929), General Crack (1930), “ Rebecca from the Sunnybrook Farm ”(1932) and“ Roundup ”(1936).
The actress was married four times. Her first two marriages lasted only a few years and ended in divorce. In 1934, Nikon married the film director William A. Saiter, from whom she gave birth to a son in the same year. Their marriage lasted until Sayter's death in 1974. In 1974, 70-year-old Nixon married actor Ben Lyon , who died five years later.
Marian Nixon died in February 1983 from complications after open heart surgery at the age of 78. [2] The actress is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in California's Glendale . Her contribution to American cinema is marked by a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame .
