Biography
Born on April 25, 1930 in the village of Rybnaya (now the Tonkin district of the Nizhny Novgorod region ). He began his career after graduating from a vocational school in 1948 at the Dolinsky Pulp and Paper Mill in the Sakhalin Region , where he passed working professions from knurling to a mesh operator of a paper machine.
Vasily Kupriyanovich Veselov arrived at the Kotlas Pulp and Paper Mill on a call in 1963 to set up and start up newly assembled paper machines producing bag paper. Having experience, he quickly mastered sophisticated equipment and in March 1965 he was appointed senior engineer of the paper machine No. 1 of the paper workshop of the cardboard and paper production, where he worked until 1985.
During the first years of work on the machine, a working speed of 420 meters per minute was achieved, the output of products of the first grade was 72%. A lot of work was done on the machine to reduce the density of the paper web. Due to this, the team, led by Vasily Kupriyanovich Veselov, saved a significant amount of material resources, developed over 100 million square meters of sack paper over the plan with consistently high quality products. Vasily Kupriyanovich Veselov, an upscale papermaking specialist, has trained 14 paper machine operators at the mill through individual training. The rationalization proposals made by him made it possible to significantly improve the quality of products and improve working conditions for workers.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of February 4, 1982, Veselov Vasily Kupriyanovich was awarded Veselov Kupriyanovich for the paper machine operator of the Kotlas pulp and paper mill named after the 50th anniversary of the Komsomol of the USSR Ministry of Forest, Pulp and Paper and Woodworking the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the presentation of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle Medal to him.
In April 1985 he retired, but continued to work on the subsidiary farm of the plant as an operator. He died on April 30, 2007.
He was awarded two Orders of Lenin , an anniversary medal "For Valiant Labor. In commemoration of the centenary of the birth of V. I. Lenin. "
