Polivanova, Katerina Nikolaevna

Katerina Nikolaevna Polivanova was born on May 4, 1952 in Moscow. In 1974 she graduated with honors from the Physics Department of Moscow State Pedagogical University. Lenin. Since 1974, she worked at the Research Institute of General and Educational Psychology of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR (later the Psychological Institute of the Russian Academy of Education). In 1983, under the guidance of D. B. Elkonin, she defended her thesis “Psychological conditions for the formation of control actions in primary school students” ^[10] . In 1999 she defended her doctoral dissertation in the specialty 19.00.13, “Psychological analysis of age-related development crises (in the logic of cultural-historical theory) ^[11] . In 2005 received the title of professor. He is one of the organizers of the Moscow annual conference “Trends in the Development of Education” ^[12] and the annual conference in Krasnoyarsk “Pedagogy of Development” ^[13] . He teaches at the Department of Developmental Psychology, Faculty of Educational Psychology, Moscow State Pedagogical University. Professor, National Research University Higher School of Economics, Head of the Research Group “Modern Childhood” ^[14] .
