Geography
It is located on the Malaya Kshe River , 9 km from the regional center and 20 km from the Chamzinka railway station.
Title
Anthroponym name: on behalf of Elizabeth (daughter of Major General Neibushev).
History
In the “List of Populated Places of the Simbirsk Province” (1863), Elizavetinka is an owner village of 61 yards (411 people) in the Karsun district .
In 1913, 620 people lived in the village. In the late XIX - early XX centuries in the Elizavetinka crafts and carpentry industry was developed - the production of ridges.
In the 1930s a collective farm was created to them. Lenin, since 1997 - SKHPK.
Infrastructure
High school, library, House of culture, first-aid post, shop.
