Xinwen Lianbo [2] ( Chinese ex. 新闻 联播 , pinyin : Xīnwén Liánbō , literally: “news block”) is China Central Television's daily news program. It is broadcast simultaneously throughout the territory of mainland China, so that its audience is one of the largest in the world. The first release of the program was released on January 1, 1978 [3] .

The program is the main news program in China [1] [4] and attracts up to 350 million viewers daily, and during the New Year holidays - up to 460 million [4] .
