Biography
Vasily Lysenko was born on August 15, 1928 in the village of Savinki , the village of Pridesnyanskoye, Korop district, Chernihiv region . Ukrainian. Until 1941, he studied at the secondary school of the village Gorodische of the Korop district. During the German occupation did not study. After the liberation of the area from the Germans in 1943, he went to work on a collective farm.
In 1943-1947 he was a collective farmer in the collective farm named after the Paris Commune in the village of Savinki. In 1947-1948 he was a cadet of the school of agricultural mechanization, the city of Krolevets, Sumy region .
From November 1948 to November 1951 he served in the Soviet Army , senior optical master of the army workshop of the 2nd Mechanized Army.
From November 1951 to December 1957, he was the head of the village club of Savinki village. From December 1957 to December 1959, he was the head of the farm of the Druzhba collective farm, the village of Gorodishche. From 1960 to February 1976, he was the foreman of the field team of the Druzhba collective farm. In 1966, he was awarded the Order of Lenin for high hemp yields.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated April 8, 1971, Vasily Ivanovich Lysenko was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle Medal.
From February 1976 to January 1989 - Chairman of the farm "Friendship". In 1989-1990, he was the chairman of the village council of the Communist village of the Korop district. Since March 1990 - retired.
He was elected a deputy of the Koropsky district council, a deputy of the village council.
Lives in the city of Chernihiv.
He was awarded two Orders of Lenin , medals, including the medal "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945"; silver and two bronze medals VDNH USSR.
In the urban village of Korop on the Alley of Heroes, a memorial sign of V.I. Lysenko is installed.
