Biography

Born on September 22, 1908 in the village of Sorokino, Borovichi district, Novgorod province . Russian. After receiving primary education, he worked as a receptionist for Borovichi timber industry enterprise.

In 1931, a 4-month training camp for junior commanders took place. In the battles of World War II from November 1941. He fought on the North-West , Volkhov , Leningrad , 3rd Baltic , 3rd Belorussian and 1st Ukrainian fronts. He participated in the battles near Novgorod, the liberation of the Pskov region, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Czechoslovakia.

In July 1944, during the Pskov-Ostrovsky operation, troops of the 3rd Baltic Front broke through the enemy’s defenses and liberated the cities of Ostrov and Pskov. Continuing to develop the offensive, the 54th Army, consisting of the senior sergeant of the medical service Golubev, who served as the medical officer of the sanitary platoon of the 299th Infantry Regiment of the 225th Infantry Division, fought in the direction of Aluksne. Within three days from July 19 to July 21, 1944, during the offensive from the Lzha River to the Pundury station, Golubev removed 24 wounded with their weapons from the battlefield. In one of the battles, saving the commander, he engaged in a battle with a Nazi who was trying to capture a wounded officer, and destroyed him with machine gun fire.

By order of the 225th Infantry Division of July 29, 1944, for the courage shown in battles with the enemy, Senior Sergeant A.T. Golubev was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree.

Subsequently, the division participated in Tartu and Riga operations. In December 1944, she was transferred to southern Poland and fought to liberate the Dombrowski coal and industrial region in Silesia.

The medical officer of the same regiment and division, the foreman of the medical service A. T. Golubev, on January 21-23, 1945, carried out 17 wounded soldiers from the front line at the settlements of Podskale, Kotseln, Psarny.

In total, during the battles in Poland, he personally delivered 67 wounded soldiers to the battlefield, and rendered first aid to another 82 soldiers and officers.

By order of the 21st Army of March 8, 1945, the foreman of the medical service A.T. Golubev was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree.

In early February 1945, as part of a sabotage group, he acted behind enemy lines. The scouts changed into women's clothing and, under the guise of local residents, came close to the Nazis in a village 18 kilometers northwest of the city of Oppeln and, with a sudden attack, destroyed enemy firing points, which allowed the rifle battalion to occupy the village without loss.

March 25, 1945 the entire group was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of December 20, 1951, by way of re-award, Golubev Alexander Tikhonovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree.

In 1946, the foreman A.T. Golubev was demobilized. He lived in the city of Borovichi . He worked at the Udinsky Cardboard Factory as a carpenter, the head of the forest exchange, a watchman, the commandant of the village, and the chairman of the factory committee.

He died in 1991. He was buried in the city of Borovichi .

He was awarded the orders of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, Red Star , Glory of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree, medals.
