Biography

Born in 1922 in the village of Pokrovka, Ussuri district of Primorsky Krai , in a peasant family. Korean.

In 1937, the family came under national repression. Father was arrested and his further fate is unknown. Mother with three children was taken to Kazakhstan . Here, 15-year-old Peter began working on a collective farm. Later he moved to the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan.

He worked on the collective farm named after Mikoyan in the Nizhne-Chirchik region, worked on the cultivation of industrial crops, specifically kenaf. He sought record crops in the irrigated lands of the green stalk of kenaf. In 1950, Peter Khan ensured a kenaf crop of 93.1 centners from an area of ​​5.8 hectares.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of July 17, 1951, Khan Peter was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle."

All of Khan's labor activity is related to agriculture.

In 1998, he was forced to leave Uzbekistan, adopted the citizenship of the Russian Federation.

He lived in the city of Perm. He died in 2004.

He was awarded the orders of Lenin , the October Revolution , the Red Banner of Labor , medals, including the Uzbekistan Shukhrai medal.
