Biography
Born December 1, 1923 in the village of Mory, Ryazhsky district, Ryazan province, the village of Mary, Novoderevensky district, Ryazan region ,. He graduated from 10 classes.
In October 1941 he was drafted into the Red Army . In the battles of World War II from May 1942. By the summer of 1944, he fought as a scout of the 235th Guards Fighter Anti-Tank Artillery Regiment, then as a gunner of the same unit.
On July 15, 1944, in the battles for the village of Moniluvka of the Guard, the Red Army Nazin destroyed with fire from an easel machine gun the enemy infantry squad, which made it possible to repel his counterattack.
By an order of August 8, 1944, the Red Army Nazin Vasily Sergeevich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree.
On January 18, 1945, in the battle for the place of Zharki, the guard, Sergeant Nazin, direct fire, eliminated 2 machine gun points. On January 24, he was among the first to cross the Oder River near the village of Eichenrid and immediately entered the battle, destroying more than 10 soldiers and officers and the enemy machine-gun point.
By order of March 24, 1945, the guard Sergeant Nazin Vasily Sergeevich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree.
On May 2, 1945, in the battle for the village of Blokhviu of the Guard, Sergeant Nazin scattered and hit more than a platoon of enemies with fire from a gun. On May 6, in a battle in the area of the settlement of Yemlits, firing direct fire, set fire to the tank and knocked out an armored personnel carrier with an assault of machine gunners.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 15, 1946, for the exceptional courage, courage and fearlessness shown in battles with enemy invaders of the guard, Sergeant Nazin Vasily Sergeevich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree. He became the full holder of the Order of Glory.
In 1947 he was demobilized. He lived in the hero city of Moscow . He worked at the factory. Likhachev. He died on April 14, 1998. He was buried in Moscow at the Shcherbinsky cemetery.
He was awarded the orders of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, Glory of 3 degrees, medals.
In Moscow, at number 6 on Zatonnaya Street, where the veteran lived, a memorial plaque was installed. In the Nagatinsky district of Moscow , a traditional futsal tournament is held dedicated to his memory.
