Biography

Born on June 19, 1923 in the village of Kidusovo, Spassky district, Ryazan region . Graduated from 5 classes. He worked on a collective farm.

In October 1941 he was drafted into the Red Army . On the fronts of World War II since December 1941. He fought on the South-West, 3rd Ukrainian and 1st Belorussian fronts.

On July 18, 1944, during a breakthrough of defense near the village of Viduta Guard, Junior Sergeant Goryachev broke into the enemy dugout, captured 2 opponents, and obtained valuable documents. In this battle he was twice wounded, but he did not leave the battlefield.

By order of the Guard on July 30, 1944, Junior Sergeant Goryachev Ivan Vladimirovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree.

On September 15, 1944, the commander of the intelligence department Goryachev, ambushed at the front edge of the enemy’s defense in the vicinity of the village of Genrykuv, captured the German and delivered him to the regiment headquarters.

By order of the Guard on November 12, 1944, Junior Sergeant Goryachev Ivan Vladimirovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree.

He distinguished himself in offensive battles “... during the crossing of the Pilitsa River in the vicinity of the village of Vesmovizhye of the Strometsky district of the Radom province. On February 16, 1945, going on a combat reconnaissance mission with six fighters, Goryachev entered the battle with a counterattack adversary. In this battle, he destroyed 2 armored personnel carriers with grenades along with their calculations, destroyed more than 10 opponents with machine gun fire and thereby made it possible for the infantry units to force the river at low cost. ”

By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 24, 1945, for the exceptional courage, bravery and fearlessness shown in battles with enemy invaders of the guard, Senior Sergeant Goryachev Ivan Vladimirovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree. He became the full holder of the Order of Glory.

Member of the CPSU since 1945. In one of the battles he was wounded. He died in hospital from wounds on May 23, 1945.

He was awarded the orders of the Red Banner , World War I 1st and 2nd degree, Glory 3 degrees, medals.
