Biography
She was born on December 25, 1933 in the village of Staraya Melovaya, Petropavlovsk District, Voronezh Region . Russian.
In 1952 she graduated from the N.K. Krupskaya Pedagogical College in the city of Boguchar, Voronezh Region . In 1952-1956 she worked as a primary school teacher in a seven-year school in the village of Pobeda in the Tselinny district of the Altai Territory .
In 1956 she moved to the city of Biysk in the Altai Territory . In 1956-1957 - the tutor of school number 18; in 1957-1958 - the head of the children's sector of the builders club; in 1958-1970 - teacher, senior pioneer leader of school number 18; in 1970-1971 - senior pioneer leader, deputy director for educational work, in 1971-2000 - director of orphanage No. 2.
E. A. Klimenko initiated the organization of a family-type orphanage “Gnezdyshko”, the only one in the Altai Territory . Orphans were gathered from all over the region and organized into families.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of December 16, 1987, Klymenko, Ekaterina Andreevna, was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the Order of Lenin and the gold medal “Sickle and The hammer".
Since 1988, for 15 years, was elected a member of the board of the Central Soviet Children's Fund named after V.I. Lenin . In 1988, she was appointed representative of the Altai Territory to the All-Union Council on Public Education: she dealt with child protection issues. The delegate of the All-Union Congress of Workers in Education.
He is the author of a number of methodological developments on the topic “Creating conditions for the maintenance and upbringing of children in family-type orphanages” and articles on raising children in the family, and on moral and aesthetic education of youth.
