Biography
Born on September 26, 1937 in the village of Baltasi, Baltasinsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan, into a peasant family. Tatar. He graduated from high school in his village and in 1960 Kazan Veterinary Institute.
He began his labor activity as a livestock expert at Baltasinsky District Agricultural Inspection. Soon he was entrusted to lead one of the lagging collective farms in the district - a collective farm named after the 50th anniversary of the Komsomol - which he was able to bring to the fore. In 1970, R.I. Zaripov was elected the second secretary of the Baltasinsky district committee of the party, from 1978 to 1980 he was the chairman of the executive committee of the Baltasinsky regional council of people's deputies.
As a competent, skillful leader, R.I. Zaripov in 1980 was sent to work in Kukmorsky District - the first secretary of the CPSU District Committee . He headed the area for ten years. During these years, thanks to the efforts of R.I. Zaripov, positive changes were achieved in the area of agriculture and industry, the integrated improvement of settlements, and the gasification of villages in the region. Were repaired, built dozens of residential apartment buildings, schools and cultural facilities. The area has been intensively building hard-surface roads, capital bridges, and drastic measures have been taken to transform the system of service, culture and way of life.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated July 17, 1986, for achieving high performance and labor heroism shown in fulfilling plans and socialist commitments to increase the production and sale of agricultural products to the state, Zaripov Rome Ibrahimovic was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the gold medal " Hammer and sickle".
During the crucial 1990–1991 years for the country, R.I. Zaripov worked as secretary of the Tatar Republican Committee of the CPSU , then he was the head of the administration of the Tyulyachinsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan, from 1992 to 1995 - Chairman of the Standing Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. In 1995 he retired.
While retired, R.I. Zaripov worked as manager of the Kukmor branch of the Savings Bank of the Russian Federation, and from 1996 to 2003 - the Baltasinsky branch of the Savings Bank of the Russian Federation.
He was elected deputy of the Supreme Council of the Tatar ASSR, people's deputy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
He lived in the village of Baltasi. He died March 12, 2009 at the 72nd year of life after a serious illness. He was buried in the cemetery of the village Baltasi.
He was awarded two Orders of Lenin , the Order of the Red Banner of Labor , and medals.
In 2007, the name of Hero was given to the secondary school of the village of Bailyangar, Kukmorsky municipal district. A memorial plaque is installed on the school building.
