Trubetskoy is a Belarusian rock band from Minsk . It was founded on September 1, 2014 by ex-members of the Lyapis Trubetskoy team. The leader of the collective is the former vocalist of Lyapisov Pavel Bulatnikov . The members of the Trubetskoy group themselves call their style “heavy dance music” - “heavy dance music”.

History
March 17, 2014 Sergei Mikhalok announced the upcoming dissolution of the group "Lyapis Trubetskoy", and on August 31 this team ceased its activities [1] .
On the night of September 1, 2014, the work of two new groups appeared, founded by ex-members of Lapis - saw the release of Brutto's video for the song of the same name and the single “Swallow” from a musical project with the partially familiar name Trubetskoy [2] .
As it turned out, the Trubetskoy band was founded by some of the former Lyapis Trubetskoy musicians: one of the vocalists Pavel Bulatnikov , guitarist Ruslan Vladyko and former drummer Alexander Storozhuk (he played at Lyapis Trubetskoy from 2001 to 2011 inclusive). The current guitarist J: MORS Pavel Tretyak and former bassist BeZ bileta , Krambambuli and J: Morse, composer, head of the Chiefs Band jazz orchestra Ales-Frantisek Myshkevich joined this trio.
The first single released by the group on September 1, 2014 [3] , can only be called debut debut. The song "Swallow" was occasionally performed at the concerts of "Lapis Trubetskoy", but has already managed to gain popularity among fans of the group. However, despite the requests of the same fans, it remained unreleased in the studio version.
The first concert of the Trubetskoy group took place less than a week after its creation - on September 5, the band performed at the RESPUBLICA festival in Ukrainian Kamenetz-Podolsky . The premiere of the song “Nearby” took place there.
After the first successful performances, Trubetskoy starts preparing a film about their band “Trubetskoy. The Band ”, in which band members talk about themselves. An international team worked on the film: musical numbers were shot live at the Snorre Bergerud studio in Vilnius, interviews were written in Minsk and Moscow, editing took place immediately in the three above-mentioned cities; The film also used materials shot at concerts of the Trubetskoy band in Kamenetz-Podolsky, Kiev, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
In November 2014, the Trubetskoy band performed in St. Petersburg at the Cosmonaut club together with the groups “Give Darogu!” And “NOM” with a concert “Lyapis Crew: Trubut”.
Sergei Mikhalok forbade the newly-minted group to perform lapis songs. To this, the leader of the Trubetskoy group replied that in the future he does not plan to perform these songs, as the group is gradually acquiring new material. Nevertheless, Pavel Bulatnikov plans to continue performing Lapis songs and delight his fans before the release of a full-fledged studio album, and to stop it after the release of the studio album. These songs remain relevant in the work of the team and beloved fans.
On October 23, 2015, the debut album Magister Bibendi was released . The release, consisting of 12 new tracks, was called Magister Bibendi (translated from Latin - “teacher of drinking”, “manager of drinking”). A feature of the new release was that people from different countries worked on it - “a real inter-team”, according to the press attaché of Trubetskoy band Alexander Berger: “This record was written in Lithuania, the sound producer from Norway was responsible for the sound, the lyrics were composed in Minsk, Kiev, Vilnius, Moscow, Varna, mastering of the album was done in London, the clip was edited in Ljubljana, and so on. And this album also included songs in three languages: Russian, Belarusian and Ukrainian. ” You can listen to Magister Bibendi on Yandex resources. On November 13, 2016, Ales František-Myszkiewicz left the group [4] . Later it became known that Dmitry Sviridovich, ex-member of the Lyapis Trubetskoy band, will take the place of the bass player.
The group performs on a large scale in Russian cities in the first months of the year together with the Sk'n'Word group. Many songs of the collective are rewritten in acoustic processing.
On July 6, 2017, the group performs at the opening of the Invasion 2017 rock festival in the village of Bolshoi Zavidovo, Tver Region. The group was met quite positively.
On July 21, 2017, the group presented its repertoire in the Air program on Our Radio.
Since September 2017, keyboardist Dmitry Khomenko becomes the new member of the group. On September 1, in honor of the group’s 3rd anniversary, a new song “Kitty” was presented in the style of modern music and Mumiy Troll. The new songs “Kitty” and “Time” were performed on September 2, at a concert in Moscow dedicated to the group’s birthday. On September 15, 2017, a new music video for the song “Kitty” appeared on the YouTube channel.
On November 28, 2017, a video was released for the song "When you go home."
On April 18, 2018, the group presented the song “Mayo Sertsa”. For the first time, the song was performed live in an acoustic version at a concert in Minsk on April 19, 2018.
On June 5, 2018, a post appeared in the social networks of the team that the drummer of the group, Alexander Storozhuk, decided to focus on teaching.
On June 17, 2018, the band held a concert in Osipovichi with a new drummer.
On June 20, 2018, the group introduced the new drummer of the group. They became Sergey Podlivakhin, famous, thanks to the team of Leprikonsa. He also played in other bands.
On June 28, 2018, a video for the song “Time” was released.
In February 2019, the album “stirs the beat.”
