In the second half of the 19th century, Moscow forstadt was rebuilt after the liquidation of Riga fortifications. The system of new suburbs was developed under the leadership of Alexander Arkadievich Suvorov . Since 1857, these territories entered the city limits. Near the near border of the forstadt, the two-story houses of middle-class merchants represented the development.
