The Tosmen Cup Football Cup (the Cup of the Champions of the two Capitals ) is the official football competition in Soviet Russia and the USSR , which was held intermittently from 1919 to 1929 and actually determined the best club team in the country.

Content
Tournament History
The tournament was established by the Tosman football team [1] . In 1916 a sports club of postal and telegraph officials (PCH) appeared in St. Petersburg . When it was founded the football team, which after the February Revolution, changed its name to "Tosmen", which means - the Telegraph Society of Athletes. Soon this company established the Tosmen Cup, which was supposed to be given in fact to the best club team in the country.
The first winner of the cup in 1919 was the Kolomyagi team from Petrograd, and the last winner in 1929 was the Moscow Pisheviki .
Competition Scheme
This trophy was played out between the winners of the two strongest regional championships of Soviet Russia , and then the USSR . He was disputed by the spring champions of Moscow and Leningrad.
The final matches were held alternately in Leningrad and Moscow.

Post-Tournament
After the Tosmen Cup, the tournament that determined the best Russian team became the RSFSR football championship (among clubs) .
