Career
Ilya Arkalov is a pupil of the Moscow Spartak . From 2009 to 2011, he played for junior league clubs in North America. In the 2011/12 season, he played 12 matches for the Austin Bruins North American Hockey League club, after which he returned to Russia, becoming a player in the White Tigers Youth Hockey League club. In the first match in the league (against Tolpar ) he gave an assist to Vladimir Mitrokhin [1] . The first goal in the MHL scored on September 14, 2012 against Igor Ustinsky from the Steel Foxes [2] . In just 26 games for the Orenburg team, the forward scored 8 goals and made 13 assists.
On November 19, 2012, Arkalov moved to Novokuznetsk Metallurg and on November 27 already played in the MHL match for the Kuznetsk Bears against the White Tigers [3] . As part of Metallurg, the striker played 6 matches in the Continental Hockey League , the first of which was January 19, 2013 with Vityaz [4] .
In the summer of 2013, Ilya Arkalov moved to Avtomobilist . He made his debut in the new club on October 6, 2014 in a match with Donbass [5] . November 24, 2013 the striker scored the first puck in his career in the KHL (at the gate of Slovan ) [6] . In total, according to the results of the season, he had 31 matches (including 1 in the playoffs) and 2 goals. At the same time, the striker continued to play in the MHL and on March 6, 2014 scored the first point for performance in the Kharlamov Cup , giving an assist to Anatoly Golyshev in the match against Tolpar [7] .
On May 6, 2019, Arkalov signed a contract with Moscow Spartak , the agreement was calculated until April 30, 2020 [8] .
