Vazquezu is a lake located approximately in the center of the Prince Albert National Park .

The name of the lake, which means wapiti , translated from the Cree language , is also the name of the resort town in the northwest of the city ββof Prince Albert in Saskatchewan on the eastern shore of the lake.
Lake Vasquezu is currently the most developed reservoir in the park and has many recreational facilities along the coastline, including two camping sites: Red Deer and Beaver Glen. [one]
Near the west coast is King Island (formerly Devil's Island), named after the founder of the park, William Lyon, Mackenzie King .
