It forms crystalline hydrate of NiS 2 O 6 • 6H 2 O composition - green crystals of triclinic syngony , space group P 1 , cell parameters a = 0.643 nm, b = 0.648 nm, c = 0.676 nm, α = 103.23 ° β = 96.7 ° γ = 96.5 ° [2] .
With ammonia forms adducts of the form NiS 2 O 6 • 6NH 3 .
