Geography
The village of Novokamenka stands on the left bank of the Tunguska River , about 5 km below the village located on the right bank. Nikolaevka of the Jewish Autonomous Region .
The distance from Novokamenka to the confluence of the Tunguska into Amur is about 15 km.
There is no road to Novokamenka, in winter you can drive through ice on the car through Tunguska from Nikolaevka .
There is a " river tram " from the Khabarovsk River Station, the travel time is about 3 hours. Stopping the ship "Dawn" , making voyages to the village. Victory The main transport connection is with Nikolaevka in motor boats along Tunguska.

Infrastructure
The village owes its origin to a stone quarry, after the extraction of building materials ceased, the village fell into decay.
The local population is small, houses are used as summer cottages of the Khabarovsk citizens.

On the slopes of the hill, towering above Novokamenka, traces of a volcanic eruption are visible, "stone waterfalls " have formed.
Novokamenka is popular with vacationers, fishermen , climbers and extreme lovers.
On the banks of the Tunguska, a monument has been erected to fellow villagers who died on the fronts of World War II.
