Geography
It is located in the Kudarinskaya steppe , 2 km south-west of the village of Tvorogovo , 17.5 km north-west of the regional center - the village of Kabansk . 13 km west of Borkov lies Baikal Sor-Cherkalovo Bay . To the east, beyond the village of Tvorogovo, is the Selenga delta ; to the north - small pine forests and elders of the near-delta zone.
