Biological Description
At the age of 10 years, height is about 1.5 m. At the age of 25 years - height is about 170 cm, width is about 150 cm.
Crohn is round, dense.
Leaves 90 × 45 mm, green, matte, bare.
Inflorescences are conical, bear 19-22 flowers.
Flowers 70 × 65 mm, funnel-shaped, light purple inside, violet-pink on the outside, 5-lobed, the edge of the petals slightly corrugated. Stamens are pink-violet.
It blooms in late May - mid-June [1] .
In Culture
In Finland, in the Mustila arboretum, in good years, 'Irina' shows an exceptionally abundant flowering [2] .
