Biography
Born on August 24, 1912 in the village of Lesnoye Ardashevo (now in the Temnikovsky district of the Republic of Mordovia ). Mordvin. He graduated from grade 4. From childhood, he helped his father, who worked in logging. Before the war, he worked as a foreman at a factory in the city of Kovrov, Vladimir Region .
In July 1941 he was drafted into the Red Army . In the battles of World War II from December 1941. Was injured. After the hospital, he was sent by the machine-gun crew commander to the 1122th Infantry Regiment of the 334th Infantry Division. He distinguished himself in the battles for the liberation of Belarus and Lithuania.
On June 25, 1944, Senior Sergeant Kitsaev, with the expectation of being the first to cross the Zapadnaya Dvina River, 8 km west of the village of Ostrovno. Machine gunners well-aimed fire covered the crossing of the river rifle units. In battle, he put down a machine gun, disabled a large number of enemy infantry.
By order of September 26, 1944, Sergeant Kitsaev Mikhail Mikhailovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree.
In offensive battles on October 7-8, 1944, in the battle in the vicinity of the town of Krupiai for the settlements of Gimbutsa, Brazhishki and Sovnory, senior sergeant Kitsaev acted in the same combat strength, but already as part of the 4th strike army. Skillfully and maneuvering on the battlefield, quickly changing firing positions, acting decisively, crushed six enemy firing points with an easel machine gun fire, destroying more than 15 opponents.
By order of November 3, 1944, Sergeant Kitsaev Mikhail Mikhailovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree.
In the spring of 1945, in the battles on the territory of Poland, Senior Sergeant Kitsaev was the deputy gunner of the 3rd Separate Anti-Tank Fighting Division.
On the night of March 20, 1945, Kitsaev, acting as part of the calculation, while repelling an enemy counterattack 12 km from the city of Prudnik, knocked out two tanks. On May 6, in the area of the Krasne settlement, Louchki put down an enemy firing point, thereby contributing to the advancement of our infantry.
By order of May 18, 1945, Senior Sergeant Kitsaev was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree.
In 1945, the foreman Kitsaev was demobilized. He returned to his homeland.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 31, 1956, Kitsaev Mikhail Mikhailovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree by re-ordering.
He lived in the village of Kitsaevka, Temnikovsky district. He worked as a foreman in the Temnikovskaya inter-collective farm construction organization, as a foreman in the district committee. He died on October 30, 1990.
He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, Glory of 3 degrees, medals, including "For Military Merit".
