Geography
It is located 15 km northeast of the district center, the village of Ivolginsk , on the high left side of the Ivolga river valley on the north-eastern slopes of Khamar-Daban , on the rivers Bolshaya Rechka and Gurulba. It is located 1-3 km north-west of the borders of the urban district of Ulan-Ude , 13 km from the city center, 1.5 km north of the Baikal International Airport .

Infrastructure
Secondary school, medical dispensary.
Religion
An Orthodox church in honor of the holy apostles Peter and Paul was erected in 1910. There was a parish school at the church. In 1939 the temple was closed, the building was used as a village club. In 2004, the church building was returned to believers. Since 2011 - an independent parish of the Ulan-Ude diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church [3] .
