Ukrainian Football Championship among junior teams 2014/2015

The 3rd youth football championship of Ukraine began on August 13, 2014 . [1] The title was defended by the youth team of the Metalist football club.

Rules

The championship was divided into 2 stages, 15 teams were divided into 3 groups, in each of which in the autumn part 3 rounds were held. In the spring part, the teams at the first stage took first and second places in their groups, as well as two teams that have the best performance among the teams that took third places in their groups (the number of points scored, the difference of goals scored, goals scored, the number of goals scored goals), form a group “1” and play the final places from 1 to 8. All other teams form a group “2” and play the final places from 9 to 15 Matches in groups are held in two circles. [2]

For the first time, the U-19 championship was attended not by the duplicate composition of the Premier League team, but by the professional club from the Second League Skala from the city of Stryi, Lviv Region [3] , which announced its desire to participate in the tournament before the start of the last tournament. According to the results of the 2013/14 season, football clubs left the Premier League:

  • Sevastopol - 11th place in the standings (disbanded)  
  • Tavria - 15th place in the standings (disbanded)  
  • Arsenal - 16th place in the standings (withdrew from the tournament after the 14th round)  

From the First League 2013/14 qualified football club :

  • “Olympic” - 1st place in the standings  

From the Second League 2013/14 the football club is admitted:

  • “Rock” - 18th place in the standings
