Biography
Born December 30, 1916 ( January 12, 1917 ) in the village of Bezzubovo, Orekhovo-Zuevsky District, Moscow Region . Member of the CPSU / CPSU since 1943. Education is incomplete secondary. He worked on a collective farm.
In the Red Army since 1938. In April 1941, he was again drafted into the army for retraining. He served in the Baltic states. In June 1941, he received his first baptism of fire. During the war he fought on the Northwest, Stalingrad, Don, Central, Belorussian and 1st Belorussian fronts. Participated in the Battle of Stalingrad and Kursk, liberated the left-bank Ukraine, Belarus, Poland , fought in Germany .
The commander of the detachment of the 86th separate guards engineer battalion of the guard, sergeant Vlasov, near the village of Bolshye Avtyuki, made eight passes in the minefields and wire fences of the enemy on the night of December 15, 1943, neutralized 150 minutes. At dawn, with a sudden attack, infantry units and tanks knocked the enemy out of a powerful fortified line.
By order of the commander of the 77th Guards Rifle Division of February 2, 1944, Sergeant Vlasov was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree for the courage shown in battles with the enemy.
Guard Sergeant Vlasov in early August 1944, in preparation for crossing the Vistula River near the city of Zvolen, crossed the river at night and pulled on a cable and secured it to the other side. As a ferry commander, he and the squadron crossed the river to the infantry battalion and the artillery division.
By order of the 69th Army of September 30, 1944, the Guard Sergeant Vlasov was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree.
In the area of Frankfurt an der Oder from April 16 to 23, 1945, moving ahead of the advancing infantry, the guard, sergeant Vlasov, as part of a group of sappers under enemy fire, made eight passes in minefields and wire fences of the enemy, neutralized 246 anti-tank and 320 anti-personnel mines . He ensured the advance of the advancing units without a single case of detonation on enemy mines.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 15, 1946, for sergeance, courage and heroism, of the guard, Sergeant Vlasov Sergey Vasilievich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree.
Demobilized in 1946. He lived in the city of Yegoryevsk. He worked at the plant as the foreman of the molders. Then he moved to the Kurovskaya station in the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district.
He was awarded the orders of the Red Banner , Glories of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree, World War 1 degree, the Red Star , medals.
