Sholpan ( Kaz. Sholpan ) is a village in the Urjar district of the East Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center and the only settlement of the Sholpan rural district. The KATO code is 636483100 [1] .

In 1999, the village population was 1,608 people (823 men and 785 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 1,412 people lived in the village (717 men and 695 women) [2] .
