Biography
The representative of the Polish gentry clan Krishpin-Kirshenstein emblem " Kryzhpin ". The son of podskabiy of the great Lithuanian Jerome Krishpin-Kirshenstein (c. 1622 - 1681 ) and Anna Mlotsky. Brothers - Michael Anthony, Martin Michael and Andrzej Casimir.
He studied at the Cracow Academy and the University of Padua . In 1678, Jan Jerome was ordained a priest . Since 1681 - the canon of Vilna, since 1685 - the bush of Vilna. In 1687 - 1695 - the spiritual referendum ON .
In 1694, Jan Jerome Krishpin-Kirschenstein was appointed titular bishop of Salenensky and bishop of Suffragan Vilnius. In 1695, he received the rank of bishop of Zemait .
In political life, Jan Jerome opposed the Sapieha party, but the time of the Northern War of 1700-1721 went over to Sweden.
He was buried in the Vilnius Cathedral .
