Coach Career

In the last season (1949) in Yerevan “Dynamo” Andriasyan was a playing coach. But suddenly in the middle of the championship (06/10/1949) he was removed from his coaching position and invited Boris Apukhtin . The players were against it, because they considered Gadget to be an excellent specialist, well versed not only in football tactics, but also in Armenian psychology. Club officials did not heed the opinion of the players, which later, they admitted, regretted. Further changes of coaches adversely affected the team, and the next year she left the USSR top division. In 1952, Andriasyan was asked to return to the club, but for a long time he did not last there [1] .

In 1954, he coached the Yerevan Spartak, then from June 1955 to October 1956 he was at the helm of the Odessa Pishchevik , after which he returned to Yerevan and in 1957 was the head coach of the local Spartak. After a year break, he returned to coaching. Hayk Andriasyan was the head coach of the teams “Shirak” (Leninakan) - 1959/60, 1965/66, 1969, “Lernagorts” (Kafan) - 1964, “Sevan” (Oktemberyan) - 1967/68. A short time (from January to July 1961) was coached by Spartak (Yerevan), who played in the Premier League (then the first group of “A” class). On August 15, 1962, he was appointed head coach of Vinnytsia Lokomotiv , where he also did not work for long. In the same year he was awarded the title of Honored Trainer of the Armenian SSR. He completed his coaching career at the end of 1969.

Beyond Football

Gadget's nephew, Arkady Andriasyan , was also a footballer and coach. In 1972, with the USSR national team, he won bronze at the Olympic Games , a year later, as part of Ararat, he became the champion and winner of the USSR Cup, and in 1976, playing for Ararat, he became the top scorer of the USSR championship (spring) [2] .
