Kiev Drawing School is an educational art institution in Kiev , founded in 1875 by artist-teacher Nikolai Murashko . It was funded by the city budget and donations from philanthropist Ivan Tereshchenko .

At first, the school was in Tarnovsky’s house on Trekhsvyatitelskaya Street , in 1876-1880 - in one of the premises of the City Council, in 1880-1882 - in the house on Afanasyevskaya Street, in 1882-1991 - on Bolshaya Vladimirskaya Street.
In 1901, on the basis of the Murashko Drawing School, a school was organized, which became subordinate to the Petersburg Academy of Arts .
The school played a large role in the preparation of Ukrainian national artists. In 1877-1878, V. A. Serov and K. S. Malevich studied in it. N.K. Pimonenko , A. A. Murashko , S. P. Kostenko , K. Ya. Kryzhitsky , G. K. Dyadchenko , S. I. Blonskaya , I. S. Izhakevich , Y. M. were educated at the school . Kruger , I.K. Dryapachenko, as well as G.P. Svetlitsky, M.I. Zhuk, V.D. Zamirailo, A.A. Kurennoy, F.S. Krasitsky, F.V. Shavrin and others.
In 1875-1901, the school was led by Nikolai Murashko. It was taught by N.I. Murashko, H.P. Platonov , N.K. Pimonenko , I.F. Seleznev .
