Biography
Childhood
Nanzad was born in 1891, the seventh son of Damiran’s arat, in the khoshun Eetei Beyle of the Tushetu Khan aimak (now somon Manlay aimak Umnegov ). Mother Khundgan died early, and his father, due to poverty, gave Nanzad to be brought up in a foster family. In the adoptive family, Ishbal and Bujargal were brought up brutally, grazing cattle.
Military Service in Bogdan Khan Mongolia
In 1910 he went to military service instead of Baldan's elder brother, he independently learned to read and write and mastered military affairs well. After the national revolution, he joined the Mongolian army, participated in more than 10 battles of the Mongol-Chinese war , including in 1912 near Buut and Huche-Hoto, in 1913 - in the operation to capture the rebel commander Muuranga along with 70 of his soldiers in the direction of Shanagan —Shindiy — Bathaalga, in 1914 - on the direction of Shine-Bulag — Ulaan-Dov — Sulinheer. In 1915-1917 he fought at Bukhyn-Khashaat and Khalkhin-Gol with the troops of Bavuuzhava . For military merits, by decree of Bogdan Khan, he was awarded the title of “Fast Hero ” ( Turgen Baatar ).
Having been reduced by border troops, he was transferred to Urga, to the Khuzhir-Bulan military school, then was appointed to Altan-Bulak as an artillery commander and remained in this position until 1918 , until the guns were transferred to the gamines by the decree of the Chinese military authorities, and the Mongol troops disbanded.
Participation in the People's Revolution
After being dismissed from service on Yeru-Golsky Urton, Nanzad met with his old friend Khuzhir-Bulan D. Suhe-Bator , and since that time he has been actively involved in the revolutionary work of the People’s Party . He participated in the liberation of Altan-Bulak from the Chinese; his unit took the headquarters and barracks of the gamins. Then, at the head of a special detachment, he guarded the Altan-Bulak, where the party headquarters were located, and its environs Ivtseg and Shaamar from the Chinese. Then he was appointed commander of the 1st regiment of the militia. He repelled the attempt to storm Altan-Bulak by forces of the Asian division . After the occupation of Urgi by the militia, he was appointed military commissar in Uliastai .
According to the order of October 7, 1922 from the People’s Government, the Ulyasutai authorities, together with D. Baldandorj and M. Dugarzhav , successfully carried out the operation to eliminate the Jalama . After that, he served in Ulan Bator , then from 1923 he commanded regiments in Khovda and Gurvanbayan. Due to ill health, he was again transferred to Ulaanbaatar, worked in the Ministry of War , participated in the organization of the police service. In the winter of 1931 he died due to an illness at the age of 40 years.
