Biography
Born on December 6, 1917 in the village of Skripachi, Nazarovsky District, Krasnoyarsk Territory . Member of the CPSU / CPSU since 1944. He graduated from 9 classes. He worked as a hunter-fishery, a locksmith in the fishery-cooperative artel.
In the Red Army since 1938. In the battles of World War II from July 1941.
The assistant platoon commander of the 301st separate reconnaissance company, senior sergeant Sukhikh, with an reconnaissance group, entered the village of Osipovka on March 14, 1944, surrounded the house where the opponents were, burst into it first, captured the sergeant major, and killed one soldier.
March 25, 1944 with scouts 20 kilometers northwest of the village of Krivoye Ozero made his way to the rear of the enemy, captured the corporal, captured a machine gun, two pistols and valuable documents.
By order of the commander of the 213rd Infantry Division of April 8, 1944, for the courage shown in battles with the enemy, Senior Sergeant Sukhoi was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree.
Petty Officer Sukhikh, in the same combat force, on May 5, 1944, while operating in reconnaissance on the right bank of the Prut River, 18 kilometers north of the city of Iasi, found an enemy stronghold, together with other scouts, defeated his garrison, destroyed seven foot soldiers, captured two, captured two machine guns and seven rifles.
On the night of May 16, 1944, scouts overcame the front line of enemy defense under cover of night. Sukhikh captured an officer and delivered him to headquarters.
By order of the 52nd Army of June 10, 1944, the foreman of Sukhoi was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree.
The assistant platoon commander of the same company, Sukhikh, at the head of an intelligence group in a battle 7 kilometers south of the city of Ungheni, on August 25, 1944 made his way to the rear of the enemy. Having approached the positions of the artillery battery, the scouts attacked it. In the ensuing battle, they exterminated about twenty opponents and captured three guns. The nearby infantry units of the enemy launched a counterattack. At the command of the foreman of Sukhoi, the scouts deployed guns and repulsed it with artillery and machine gun fire. During the battle, about fifty enemies were destroyed, more than ten of which were on the account of Sukhoi, and thirteen soldiers were captured. Taking advantage of the confusion in the camp of the enemy, the Soviet rifle units knocked out the enemy from their positions. The Sukhoi Reconnaissance Group, through their actions, contributed to the successful advancement of our infantry.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 24, 1945 for courage, bravery and heroism, Sergeant Sukhikh Nikolai Alekseevich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree.
In 1946, Junior Lieutenant Sukhikh was transferred to the reserve. He lived in the city of Sokal, Lviv region , where he worked as the production manager of the Mezhkolkhozstroy trust, and then in the city of Belgorod-Dniester, Odessa region . He worked as the director of the regional industrial complex.
He was awarded the orders of Glory of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree, Red Star , medals.
He died on December 20, 1967.
