The film was presented in the program A Special Look at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival . [1] “Carancho” was nominated from Argentina for the Oscar award in the category “Best film in a foreign language” at the 83rd ceremony [2] , but was not included in the list of nominees. [3]

Story
Sosa ( Ricardo Darin ) is a lawyer expelled from a bar association who works as a “vulture”, looking for his potential clients in emergency wards and police stations for legal protection. One night, he meets Luhan, who came from the province and works as a medical assistant in the ambulance.
