“Avenida de Mayo” ( Spanish: Avenida de Mayo ) is the station of Line C of the Buenos Aires Metro . From it you can make a transfer to Lima station ( Line A ).

The station is located in the Montserrat district, near the intersection of Avenida Nueve de Julio and Avenida de Mayo , from the last metro station and got its name. Avenida de Mayo station was opened on November 9, 1934 . In 1997, the station was included in the list of National Historic Monuments [1] .
The station is decorated with 2 ceramic panels. The first, measuring 4.30 x 2 meters, was made according to a 1934 sketch by the artist Ignacio Zuloaga and depicts a Roman aqueduct in Segovia . The second, 3.9 x 1.95 meters in size, was made according to a 1934 sketch by the artist Fernando Alvarez Sotomayor and is called "Spain - Argentina 1934" ( España - Argentina MCMXXXIV ).
