The early years

In his youth he won 5 futsal titles [2] . In school, he played for the school team of Patrician Brothers' College . He helped his school win the Bill Turner Cup in 1996 [3] .

Club career

Nick's first professional club was Sydney Olympic , playing in the Australian National Football League . He made his debut in the match against Marconi Stallions on October 5, 1997, substituting in the 75th minute of the match, and scored a goal in stoppage time. In total, the club spent 86 matches and scored 12 goals. In 2002, he transferred to the French club Troyes , however, having played only 5 matches, he returned to Australia to the Marconi Stallions club [4] , for which he played until 2005, having played 25 matches and scoring 6 goals.

Newcastle Jets

In 2005, he transferred to the club of the newly formed A-League Newcastle United Jets . He played the first 2 seasons of the A-League for the club and became very popular with Jets fans.
