Pyotr Grigoryevich Mikshiev (born March 14, 1935 ) is a Soviet and Russian theater actor , Honored Artist of the Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1972), People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2002).

Biography
Born into a peasant family, Karelian .
In 1957 he graduated from the national course of the Leningrad Theater Institute , the course of Professor E.I. Thime . After graduation, he served in the army.
Since 1959 - actor of the Finnish Drama Theater (now the National Theater of the Republic of Karelia ).
In 1960-1970 - a member of the male vocal ensemble "Manok", promoting a Finnish folk song. One of the creators of the Karelian song choir “Oma pajo” (“Native Song”) in 1990.
Member of the Board of the Union of Karelian people , member of the Council of representatives of Karelians, Vepsians and Finns under the Head of the Republic of Karelia.
Laureate of the State Prize of the RSFSR named after KS Stanislavsky (1972), Prize of the Head of the Republic of Karelia “Sampo” (1998), Prize of the Republic of Karelia 2010 in the field of theatrical art.
