Boris Aleksandrovich Rubekin ( July 14, 1969 , Leningrad - November 1, 2015 , St. Petersburg ) - Russian rock musician, keyboardist of the rock group Aquarium ( 1998 - 2015 ). In the community of fans of the group "Aquarium" is also known under the pseudonyms "Rubik" and "Angel". Often acted as a backing vocalist . He studied at school number 521 of the city of Leningrad, graduated from a mathematical class. In 1992, he graduated from LETI (Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute named after Ulyanov (Lenin)) with a degree in Information and Measurement Engineering (IIT), Department of Automation and Computer Engineering, group 630 (in one interview, it was stated that Rubekin studied at the Polytechnic University , - this is mistake). In those days he was fond of hard rock . He got into the Aquarium at the invitation of the band ’s musicians Oleg Sakmarov and Andrei Surotdinov [1] in 1998, to participate in the New Electric Dog project (a concert program was released in 2009 under the name Zombian), and has since accepted participation in all major projects and albums of the group. The last time he appeared on the stage on October 30, 2015 at a concert in Nizhny Novgorod .

Boris Rubekin died in St. Petersburg on November 1, 2015 [2] (the causes of death were not made public). He was buried on November 6, 2015 at the Kuzmolovsky cemetery ( Vsevolozhsk district , Leningrad region ).
