Kargyba ( Kazakh. Kargyba , until 1993 - Social [1] ) - an aul in the Tarbagatai district of the East Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Kumgol rural district. The KATO code is 635853300 [2] .

In 1999, the population of the aul was 988 people (516 men and 472 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 796 people lived in the aul (397 men and 399 women) [3] .
