Zhanalyk ( kaz. Zhaңalyқ , until 1992 - Kirovo [1] ) - an aul in the Tarbagatai district of the East Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Akzhar rural district. The KATO code is 635833200 [2] .

In 1999, the population of the aul was 1038 people (539 men and 499 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 929 people lived in the aul (488 men and 441 women) [3] .
