"In a circle" ( Serb. Krugovi , Serbohorv. Krugovi ) - a film directed by Srdan Golubovich , released in 2013 . The film was nominated from Serbia for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film, but was not nominated. The plot of the tape is based on the biography of the Serbian soldier Srjan Aleksic (1966-1993).

Story
The action begins in the Bosnian town of Trebin in 1993, at the height of the Bosnian war . The young Serbian soldier Marco arrives for several days at home. When he comes with his friend, the doctor Nebojsha, to the town square, three Serbs, on far-fetched occasions, start beating the Muslim Haris, a kiosk seller. Marco stands up for an innocent man. Although we are not shown what happened next, from the development of the plot it gradually becomes clear that Marco dies in this skirmish.
It takes 12 years. Haris moved to Germany and lives happily with his wife and two daughters, but the past does not let him go. Therefore, when Nada, the ex-bride of Marco, hiding from her sadistic husband, contacts him, he decides to help her at all costs. Nebojsa is a surgeon in a Belgrade hospital. When one of Marco’s murderers, who received serious injuries as a result of the accident, comes to him, the doctor faces a dilemma: to help or not to the hated person. Finally, Ranko, the father of Marco, must decide how to relate to the young Bogdan who came to him, the son of one of the murderers. What happened many years ago becomes a turning point in the lives of all participants in those events ...
